Examples of short-term rights assignment include custom-composed music, celebrity cast, etc. Rights with these creators and artists are agreed to on a case-to-case basis, and usually are for a year or three to begin with for specific mediums. Clients may extend such rights for additional years and mediums via Makerrs, at a future date and at an additional cost.
